This week Ducati North America launched
a limited edition Ducati Hypermotard with luxury retailer Neiman Marcus. The
limited production motorcycle is featured in the Neiman Marcus Fall Men's
Book and can be ordered through the Neiman Marcus website.
The Neimen Marcus Ducati Hypermotard features a Termignoni full exhaust
system with performance ECU, Ducati Performance race seat, a specially
designed "Tricolore" color and graphics package and an array of carbon fiber
accessories - all conceived and executed by Advanced Motorsports, one of the
premier Ducati dealerships in North America.
"The collaboration of our brands is a natural fit that highlights the
strength of design of premium products," commented Michael Lock, the CEO Ducati
North America. Production is limited and each unit carries an individually numbered
plaque signifying its exclusivity. These special bikes are built to order
and will be delivered to the Ducati dealership of your choice.
Founded in 1926, Ducati builds racing-inspired motorcycles
characterized by unique engine features, innovative design, advanced
engineering and overall technical excellence. The company produces
motorcycles in six market segments which vary in their technical and design
features and intended customers: Superbike, Desmosedici RR, Monster,
Multistrada, SportClassic and Hypermotard. The company's motorcycles are
sold in more than 60 countries worldwide, with a primary focus in the
Western European, North American and Japan markets. Ducati competes in the
World Superbike and MotoGP World Championships. In World Superbike, Ducati
won both the 2008 Manufacturers' and Riders' titles, bringing the total to
15 of the last 18 Manufacturers' titles and 13 Riders' titles. Competing in
MotoGP since 2003, Ducati won both the Constructors' and Riders' world
titles in 2007.
