Beautiful,
triumphant, faster than any production motorcycle. A model that lives in the
limelight of precious acclaim, fame that derives from its egocentricity. Today,
as if to materialise all the praise, the MV Agusta F4 RR 312 is dressed in
gold, 24kt gold.
With a total
surface area of 5 square meters covered, including details such as the mudguards
and mirrors, each 80x80 gold leaf was applied in such a way
as to create a flake effect. An extremely demanding process that requires
all the
precision and experience of skilled artisans, underlining the handmade
craftsmanship which is hidden behind a precious product as is the F4 312 RR.
The 1078cc MV
Augusta F4 is one of the powerful 'superbike breed' and was
first released at the rebirth of the brand in 1998; its
engine was famously developed in conjunction with Ferrari's
F1 engineering team at the time. This latest version, which
recently arrived on the market, claims to be the world's
fastest production bike, and the '312' designation refers to
the 312 km/h speed the F4 achieved on the Bonneville Salt
Flats in Utah. The F4 has also seen a whole raft of
exclusive versions being created during its long life,
including 10 created for the Neiman Marcus Christmas
Catalogue, a 'Senna' edition built to raise money for the
Ayrton Senna Foundation, and the 'Tamburini', which honoured
the bike's designer.
This unique
project unites luxury and refinement and was developed in collaboration with
Aurum, a Venetian company that is a leader in precious metal processing. The
presentation and worldwide preview took place at International Fair of Luxury
where Italian craftsmanship distinguishes itself for originality, but above all,
for the perfect combination of the refinement and brilliance of gold and the
beauty of MV Agusta motorcycles.
