Giugiaro has presented a third teaser rendering on its website of the new concept project it will unveil to the world at the Geneva Motor Show during a press conference in exactly a week's time.

The teaser image, showing side body panel vents and the designer's trademark logo above, reveals very little more about the project which will also celebrate the 40th anniversary of Giorgetto Giugiaro's founding of his famous company, Italdesign. Internet rumours suggest that it could be called 'Quaranta', Italian for fortieth.

Presented under the title of "nature has never been more powerful" the suggestion is of a sportscar that uses a form of hybrid propulsion. At last year's 77th edition of the Swiss motor show Giugiaro followed this central theme by presenting the hydrogen-powered VAD.HO concept sports cars.

Italdesign promise to present another teaser shot of the new concept which will be shown tomorrow (Wednesday 27th February) as the build up to the 78th Geneva Motor Show moves through its last week.
