The presence of Fiat
Automóveis at
the 25th Salao Internacional do Automovel - at the Parque de Exposições do
Anhembi, São Paulo, running until November 10th - is marked by a booth that
reflects Fiat: a full range of products, state-of-the-art technology, design,
pioneering nature, new trends and environment concern.
The highlights that Fiat brings to this
Show, the coming news and the technologies for the future
can be seen in a 2,750m2 place. The booth is divided into
several areas such as the Biosphere, where Fiat inserts its
Adventure versions very close to nature; Technology for the
Environment Service, where the models that use alternative
fuels are placed; and the Technological Auditorium, where
visitors can take part in a Quiz with questions about the
Fiat’s big launch in Brazil this year, Fiat Linea. In
addition to that, the lines drawn on the floor remark the
idea of Connectivity, which becomes stronger in Fiat
products. All of this brings the public to contemplate one
of the best exercises of design, trends and technology in
the Brazilian market.
One of the Fiat’s highlights in the Auto
Show is the concept car fully designed by Fiat’s engineering
in Brazil: FCC II. Its design has been oriented according to
the concept “Environment & Fun”, an ecologically correct car
offering a very pleasant drive. Another highlight is the
Fiat 500, one of the industry icons in the 50’s that had its
comeback last year, featuring a contemporary design and
technology. Once again, it has been a huge sales success in
Europe.
Visitors can see close up all Fiat Linea
versions, in a place reserved for Fiat’s new sedan, which
has already been granted two awards at the Top Car TV 2008
Edition. The new top model from Fiat has arrived to be a
market reference. Linea brings technology, design,
sophistication and comfort beyond sufficiency in order to
address the needs of the most demanding customers. The model
is the first vehicle manufactured in Brazil with an onboard
GPS navigation system - Blue&Me NAV. Moreover, it offers
Dualogic® automatic gearbox, parking, rain and crepuscular
sensors, up to six airbags and automatic digital air
conditioner, which turn this into a unique model in the
Brazilian market.
At the Show, visitors are able to meet
the future launches, to be presented: the Idea’s special
series - Oro and Platino; Stilo Blackmotion, and the Punto
T-Jet, equipped with the new 1.4 16V turbo engine. They have
come to complete the already large range of Fiat products,
featuring the presence of joviality of ideas and
technological innovation.
Models designed for sportiveness lovers
are also present. The Strada compact pick-up has received
special painting, highly sportive accessories and a turbo
engine. Linea Monte Bianco has been customised with Fiat’s
accessories products, and also with leather lining
('ultraleather’ and ‘ultrasuede’). And Hot Wheels lovers
have the chance to meet in real size – for the very first
time on a Brazilian manufactured model – a Fiat Punto
specially conceived.
In Technology for the Environment Service
space, the Siena Tetrafuel ― first car to use four different
fuels in the world ― and the Electric Palio Weekend,
designed in partnership with the Itaipu Binacional
Hydropower Plant, could not be left out. In the Biosphere
area, Fiat’s Adventure line appears surrounded by a lot of
nature, showcasing its most successful models. In 2009, it
received the Locker technology, a locking system that allows
the overcoming of adverse road conditions. In this space
there is present: Palio Adventure Locker, Strada Adventure
Locker, Idea Adventure Locker and Doblò Adventure Locker.
Also, in this area visitors find the Palio Rally, the
current winner in anticipation of the Brazilian Rally
Championship, in N3 category.
The current Fiat range is also present
from the super cost-effective Mille Economy to light
commercial vehicles such as the Ducato Motorhome, which
shows only one of the many possible use alternatives of this
versatile model.
The Fiat visitors at the Show can
interact with products and technologies. In Linea’s cockpit,
the customer is able to test the efficiency and
interactivity of the Blue&Me™NAV, and games fans have the
opportunity to practice with Game Punto.
As connectivity is strongly present,
those who are not able to come to the Show can learn and
follow the local Italian manufacturer news through the
partnerships with the Jovem Pan radio station, with live
insertions of the radio show ‘Pânico’ and its daily reports
about the Show. As for MTV, it will take part through video
recordings, and web surfers can follow it live and from many
angles through Terra portal, giving full view of what will
be happening in all the areas of Fiat’s booth.
The Árvore da Vida (Life Tree) Project
also has a reserved spot in the Show. In this place, people
can learn about this important work, which comprises social
responsibility initiatives articulated with various sectors
of the society. Visitors can also see all Fiat Clothing
products, a full collection of clothes and accessories
exclusively designed for the Fiat customer. Fashion
Innovation Attitude as its best.
Since Fiat is
always attentive to the collaboration with the environment,
LED lamps are being used in the Fiat booth, saving 20%
energy power. Besides, people who visit the booth receive a
seedling of a tree.
