The Prancing Horse stamped its mark on the weekend with the F430 competing at Albacete, in the Spanish GT Championship, the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia for the Italian GT Championship (it's one foreign event of the series) and at Thruxton, England for the fifth round of the British GT series.

In the third round of the Spanish GT Championship, held at the Albacete track, the duo of Peter Sundberg-Domingo Romero (RSV Motorsport) took the top slot in the GTA category in Race 1, but were classified fourth because of a penalty. Race 2 saw the F430 take second and third places on the podium courtesy of Manuel Cerqueda-Luis Perez Sala (Autombil Club D'Andorra) and Jesus Diez Villaroel-Angel Santos (Jesus Diez Villaroel) with victory going to the Mosler MT900R of Luis Villalba-Francesc Gutierrez (Motor Competicion).

Dominating the championship at the moment on 36 points are Peter Sundberg, Domingo Romero, Luis Perez Sala and Manuel Cerqueda, followed by Miguel Cristovao and Ricardo Bravo (ASM Team,) on 33 points. The Spanish series will be back in action at Valencia on 28th September.

The fourth round of the Italian Grand Touring Championship, saw two one-two finishes for Ferrari. In Race 1, five F430 finished in the top six: there was a well deserved win with several spectacular passing moves for the duo of Salvatore Tavano-Rui Aguas (Advanced Engineering), ahead of Vito Postiglione-Mattia Pavoni (Easy Race) and the Porsche 997 of Gianluca Roda-Patrick Pilet (Autorlando). Hampered by a broken gearbox on the penultimate lap, Alex Frassineti - Raffaele Giammaria (GPC Sport) had to settle for fourth, followed in fifth and sixth places respectively by Emanuele Moncini - Alex Caffi (Villorba Corse) and Gabriele Lancieri - Massimiliano Busnelli (Playteam Sarafree).

Still in Race 1, the F430 GT3 of Loris Kessel - Steve Earle (Kessel Racing) got the better of the Chrysler Dodge Viper of Giuseppe De Pasquale-Raffaele Sangiuolo (Scuderia La Torre) and the Lamborghini Gallardo of Marzo Romano-Cedric Sbirazzuoli (Mik Corse). In Race 2 the second one-two was pulled off by Gabriele Lancieri-Massimiliano Busnelli (Playteam Sarafree) and Emanuele Moncini-Alex Caffi (Villorba Corse), followed home in third place by Martins Cruz-Richard Lietz and their Porsche 997 (Autorlando).

Emanuele Moncini and Alex Caffi thus take the top spot in the GT2 classification with 63 points alongside Martins Cruz; they are followed by Gabriele Lancieri and Massimiliano Busnelli on 60 and Salvatore Tavano and Vito Postiglione with 48. The next round of the Italian championship takes place at Mugello over the weekend of 20th July.

Two F430 GT3 made it to the topmost step of the podium in the Thruxton round of the British GT championship: of the six cars entered in this fifth round, there was a first win of the season for the F430 of Hector Lester and Allan Simonsen (Christians in Motorsport) in Race 1 e the top slot went to Luke Hines-Jeremy Metcalfe (CR Scuderia) in Race2. Thanks to this great result for the two teams, they move into fourth and second places respectively in the overall classification. The English series will be back on track at Brands Hatch on the 12th and 13th July.
