The
exclusive Abarth dealer for Paris, Neubauer
Abarth, has announced a limited-edition Abarth
500, dubbed SpeedGrey which will come in a run
of just 10 units and will feature higher
specifications plus individual decaling. As
might be expected from the name, the small car
will only come in one colour grey and to create
uniqueness for the project, "Gris Maserati" is
derived from the Trident brand to offer a very
distinct and eye-catching theme for this small
handful of cars.
The Abarth 500
Neubauer SpeedGrey will be based around the 500 1.4 Turbo
version fitted with the extreme "esseesse" kit that offers a
potent 160 bhp. It will also come fitted with Abarth's
special high performance quad-tailpipe "Record Monza"
exhaust system. Inside, the 500 Neubauer SpeedGrey will
feature a pair of the sporty "Abarth Corsa by Sabelt" seats,
these lightweight offerings featuring distinctive red
stitching and red "Abarth" logo that is complemented by
similar stitched trimming on the instrument cover and
gearknob. It will also be highly specified, including the
Blue&Me Map infotelematic package.
On the B-pillar
of the 500 Neubauer SpeedGrey a dedicated logo, that mimics
an aircraft-style fuel filler cap, details that this is one
of the ten Neubauer Speedgrey "limited edition" models. An
Abarth shield is affixed to the rear 3/4 panel below the
rear side window line. A further unique stamp on this car
will come from the new darker-tinted glass which is also
toughened to ward off intruders.
