To promote the Alfa MiTo, Alfa Romeo UK has created
www.mymitorally.co.uk where people can log on and race
the sporty, compact hatchback at 10 different venues on
10 different web sites to score a best overall time and
the chance to win a head-turning Alfa MiTo worth almost
£12,000.
The Italian sporting car manufacturer has created this fun,
and potentially addictive, online rally driving game to
emphasise the vast array of technology on board the Alfa
MiTo, including its supercar DNA (Dynamic, Normal and All
Weather) system that alters its dynamic characteristics of
the car to suit driving conditions.
With 10 fun and challenging rally stages on 10 different web
sites, web visitors can put the Alfa MiTo’s DNA system to
the test on different surfaces from the urban streets of
London to quiet twisting country lanes. Users can even set a
time and challenge their friends to beat it!
Over the nine week duration of the promotion, top racers
will be on-track to win one of 90 iPod touch units or one of
180 iPod nanos, and at the end of each week, those talented
enough to reach the top of the national leaderboard will
receive an equally addictive Nintendo Wii. However the
ultimate prize changes the game from virtual into actual
reality, with the overall winner jumping into a stylish and
powerful Alfa MiTo 1.4 16V Lusso worth £11,936.00. Log on
for details.
Until Friday 10 April, MyMiToRally fans can keep logging on
to set a fast time and then try to better their score by
picking up fuel, turbo-boosts and repairs as they race.
