The compact Alfa
MiTo, suitable for those who look for performance and style
in a car, is already the most appreciated Alfa Romeo model
on the market today by young people and all the fans of the
brand. An Italian car of great success means that long time Italian
body styling firm Lester has chosen to expose its
underlining commitment in the area of high performance
styling and tuning by creating a new bodykit that aims to give the
standard MiTo the aggressive looks of the forthcoming
official GTA version at a fraction of the price.
					For the Alfa MiTo,
Lester has introduced an aesthetical kit with specific
interventions in the bodywork and, at a chromatic level, the
specialist has worked the front spoiler part of the car to
finish the mesh sections by painting them in metallised
anthracite. The MiTo kit provides several different styles
of rear spoilers for the roof and racy side skirts in
fibreglass that close off the body kit makeover of the car,
					perfectly joining the two axles.
					The this revised
					production-ready kit was
introduced at the My Special Car show in Rimini, and
was a further evolution of the one first exposed at the
Geneva Motor Show in March, presents a distinctive large air
intake/outlet right in the centre of the bonnet as well as
triangular air intakes located at the top of the front wings that are in the
same style as the Alfa 8C Competizione
sports car from which the MiTo drew its design inspiration.
Moreover also included in the Lester kit is a new GTA
concept-style rear diffuser into which is mounted a
wide double tailpipe exhaust system arrangement, and the new
lower spoiler/diffuser section comes complete with new round lights for
the reverse and fog lamp functions and horizontal shaped reflectors.
					Completing the
Lester bodykit, this time inside, is a specific supporting Woofer
Housing, in fibreglass, which is installed in the back
compartment and which adapts itself to the position of the
“hatbox” and to the closing of the whole compartment with
the existing packing, with the aid of only 2 fixing screws
in the points of origin of the block lock. The slot is
arranged for woofers with diameter up to 320mm but the
compartment is given closed in order to be utilised by all
woofers with inferior diameter. The car shown in the photos
is also equipped with wheels Mak Volare Mirror 7,5Jx18”
fitted with Yokohama S.Drive 215x40R18 tyres, the reworked suspension
is lowered an the work of H&R and the
exhaust system with tailpipes down each side to fit the new
diffuser is by Inoxcar. Lester also promises to supply a tuning
power upgrade for the 1.4-litre turbo version.
					The pricing of the
Lester kit is as follows: front spoiler (138,00 euros), rear
roof spoiler (96,00), rear roof spoiler - racing (136,00),
adjustable rear spoiler without primer (95,00), adjustable
rear spoiler (113,00), side skirts (148,00), bonnet vent
(98,00), air intakes for front wings 2 pieces (98,00), rear
air extracting device (142,00), rear air extracting device
for double exhaust (152,00) and woofer housing (178,00).
