						A new book
by Andreas Ritter explores in loving detail the famous
Ferrari 330 GT 2+2, a true Prancing Horse coupé from the
1960s that brought with it a unique sense of style to go
with the bags obligatory muscular V12 power that grunted
						from under its long
						flowing bonnet.

						This new
book is dedicated entirely to the Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 and describes
step-by-step the timeline of this cherished
classic sports car in a very interesting and informative
manner. The car itself was a special
design of the pen of legendary designer Tom Tjaarda, who
was working at this time for the Pininfarina studio, and
his proposal immediately impressed due to the calm
flowing lines that gave it a majestic presence that was
de rigueur for any Ferrari of that era which had 'grand
touring' pretentions. Especially eye-catching were the double headlight
units which are quite unique for a
						Ferrari.

						While the
body oozed grace and style it was a pure Maranello bred
car under the skin. The fantastic V12 engine made its home in racing cars
as well as providing serious grunt for the firm's street cars.
Inside the cabin four people had enough space to enjoy
the amazing feeling of driving this car.

					As well as
analysing in detail the history of this car and covering the
historical timeline of Ferrari models leading up to and
					following it, Andrea Ritter,
who obviously is enthralled by this very distinctive car,
has ensured that the book also
includes a faithfully reproduced test drive of the 330 GT 2+2 test by the famous
					racing driver and
motoring writer Paul Frère, which he undertook in 1964.
Synonymous with putting the experiences of driving Ferraris
to the limit down on paper, Frère declares his experiences with this
					particular four seater.

					The book also
					contains an interesting
and well presented comparison with the most highly
regarded 2+2 coupés of the era which were in direct competition
					with
the Ferrari GT 2+2. The 1960s roll call included the Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2, the Maserati Mexico
and the Aston Martin DB6, and each one is laid out in brief
detail with photos to make a quick and visual comparison.

					Many artistic
colour images blend with captivating historical photographs
and new images to show this beautiful sports car in the best possible light.
Close up photos explore every detail and bring to light the
main detail differences, such as the sumptuous interior
fabrics, that were a facet of this car.
