Ferrari
and the Commune of Maranello signed a co-operation agreement
to activate a series of initiatives to improve the Company’s
employees commute from and to work. The agreement was signed
at the city hall by Mayor Lucia Bursi, Mario Mairano, Head
of the Human Resources department Ferrari, and Nerino
Gallerani, President of Modena’s mobility office. Present at
the signing ceremony was also regional mobility and
transport councillor Alfredo Peri.
This first incentive step for public
transport to reach the Works, where Ferrari will contribute
100,000 euros over the first three years, will allow the
employees to benefit from a discount of 30 to 70% depending
on their respective commune of residence. Furthermore during a second phase public
transport will be set up for those workers from departments
with continuous working hours during the periods not covered
by regular public transport service.
For Ferrari this agreement means being able
to provide a further service to its employees, in
collaboration with the local institutions; an approach
Ferrari has always promoted and which has enabled the launch
of numerous initiatives to the advantage of Ferrari
employees and their families. These initiatives, together
with the provision of safe and high quality workplaces, let
Ferrari be nominated, just over a year ago, as “Best Place
to Work” in Europe.
