Fiat Automóveis introduce the Fiat Palio Model Year 2010 receives the new family looks launched that were introduced last year in the Siena and Palio Weekend models which includes new headlights, radiator grille and shock absorbers.

The revised Palio 2010 range now comprises of six models, including two specification levels - ELX and R (the sports version), two or four doors and three engines: 1.0 and 1.4 Fire Flex and 1.8 Flex. The ELX 1.0 version is offered with the option of two or four doors, just like the 1.8R version, while the ELX 1.4 and ELX 1.8 will be offered only with four doors.

The front radiator grille is now contains more chromed fins that the old model did and the lower spoiler grille insert bezel wraps round to encompass the chromed fog lights. The headlights, as already used on the Siena and Palio Weekend, are larger in section and contain a new distinct lower curve profile. The external finishing trims on the ELX versions are chrome plated, and on the sports version, the 1.8R, the headlights and rear light clusters are darker coloured. Inside, a the instrument feature a new graphic design and new fabrics that feature softer coverings; while for 1.8R, there is a leather-covered sports steering wheel, sports instrument graphics, sports pedals and red safety belts.

The 1.0 and 1.4 units have been totally revised by Fiat Automóveis, becoming more powerful with an extra 8 bhp squeezed from the 1.0 engine and 5 bhp from the 1.4 engine; and besides this the levels of fuel consumption and emissions are lower.

All the versions are better equipped than the previous models, having as standard equipment: body-coloured bumpers, body-coloured external door handles, brake lights, fog lights, rear spoilers, steering wheel with vertical and horizontal rake adjustment, front roof light with spotlight, rear roof light, courtesy vanity mirrors located in the sunshades, an illuminated vanity mirror on passenger side sunshade, an illuminated and internal opening device for luggage compartment, "my car" system, follow-me-home device, Fiat Code, trip computer, internal catches for the opening for the bonnet and fuel tank, heated rear screen glass with wash-wipe and three head rest supports on the rear seats.

Further equipment includes electric windows with an automatic function and anti-pinch device, remote central locking, electric rear side windows with anti-pinch system, electric body-coloured door mirrors, CD player with MP3, Bluetooth® device for cell phone, USB entrance, iPod connection, double airbag (side-bag for 1.8R) + ABS (High Safety Drive) and EBD are optional for all versions.
