Fiat
Automóveis has increased the depth of range of its medium sized
Stilo hatchback on the Brazilian market with a new
version. Available
exclusively with two black body colour finishes: Preto Vesúvio
and Preto Vulcano. The Stilo Blackmotion version is
instantly recognisable thanks to the dark grey
colour of the front grille, distinct badging
on the door kickplates and the on tailgate which
incorporate the Blackmotion shield.
The darker grey
finish is applied to the rear tailgate roofline spoiler and
also to the exclusive 17-inch alloy wheels which are fitted
with 215/50 tyres. Darkened 'Venus 55' glass rear windows
and a compact high capacity reception aerial complete the
external cosmetic changes.
Inside the
cabin, the partially covered leather seats, which are
embossed with the Blackmotion badge, and the Dualogic
gearbox operated by paddle shifts positioned behind the
steering wheel assisted by power steering serve to emphasise
the sporty characteristics of this new version of the Stilo.
The Stilo
Blackmotion has as standard equipment USB ports, connect
media system with integrated Bluetooth in the dashboard,
MP3/WMA reader, iPod port and tray holder located in the
glove box, HSD (High Safety Drive) which includes dual air
bags and ABS brakes, automatic climate control, automatic
pilot, electric front windows, central looking system and
electrically-operated Sky Roof. Optional equipment includes
side air bags, window bags, electric powered rear side
windows, parking sensor and windshield wiper sensor. The
proven 1.8 Flex (dual fuel) engine is fitted as standard; it
has maximum power of 112 bhp (petrol) or 114 bhp (alcohol)
while peak torque is 17.8 kgm (petrol) or 18.5 kgm
(alcohol). The Fiat Stilo Blackmotion has a initial price in
Brazil of R$ 65,900 (€ 22,150).
