								Very early
													yesterday morning the new
								convertible Fiat
													500 C arrived at
													Ferrari's headquarters in
								Maranello and it was shown
all day long in front of the
													Company’s new Ristorante – a
special preview for the employees of
													the Prancing Horse, who
													admired the new model from
													Fiat.

					On the
													occasion the new Fiat 500
													C, with its innovative
electrically-operated sliding canvas roof, symbolically met
the Ferrari California, the first Ferrari to feature a hardtop
roof – two different ways to
													travel with an open roof,
													but still the same
													expression of Italian style
													and technology.

					The preview at
Maranello on Wednesday comes just days after the 500 C,
which made its world public debut at the 79th Geneva Motor
Show in March, went on sale across key European markets,
just in time for the summer consumer demand for convertible
style cars. It also comes just days before the 500
celebrates its second birthday on Saturday (July 4). That
day will see special "birthday parties" taking place in nine
cities: Berlin, Gdansk, London, Madrid, Milan, Naples, Rome,
Tokyo and Volendam (July 3). It also comes as the 500
celebrates major international sales success as it was
revealed last week by brand CEO Lorenzo Sistino that,
unusually for a Fiat model, more that half (54 percent) are
being sold to buyers outside Italy.
