Small, round and hip – for
many years the Cinquecento
has belonged to the most
popular small car models in
Europe. Fiat launched a
convertible version of the
legendary little Italian
into the market promptly to
the beginning of the open
air season 2009. With an
electric retractable roof
and a modern retro
appearance, the new Fiat
500C appeals not only to the
Cinquecento fan group.
iPhone users will soon be
able to enjoy the
jump’n’drive mobile game "Be
Open” - starring the Fiat
500C.
The Cinquecento became
available as a soft-top
convertible for the first
time over 50 years ago. The
new 500C pays homage to its
popular ancestor and stands
for a long tradition of
freedom and joie de vivre.
In cooperation with media
agencies MC2 and
GroupM, CLANMO developed the
customised iPhone game "Be
Open" complementary to the
launch campaign of the Fiat
500C. The aim of the game is
to stay happy! To do so, the
player has to collect
popsicles, fruits or corn
cobs and avoid sneaky
obstacle during the cheerful
drive in the Fiat 500C. The
technical highlight of the
game is the innovative
blowing feature, which
allows the player to blow
away rain clouds by blowing
into the built-in
microphone. A different
picturesque landscape awaits
the user in each of the
three levels.
"With this game, we have
been able to visualize the
topic "car" for the iPhone
in a completely new and
unique way. We hope that
more companies like Fiat
will become aware of the
innovative potential of
Mobile for brand building
and customer retention”,
says Joachim Bader, Managing
Director of CLANMO.
