An exhibition of leading Italian art, displayed at
Fiat’s London flagship dealer, Fiat Marylebone, has been
so successful that it is being extended into the New
Year. The exhibition, by Italian artist and architect
Gemma Detti, was the centrepiece of a recent champagne
reception at the flagship’s Wigmore Street site – hosted
by Giovanni Brauzzi, Italian Chargé d’Affaires – and has
since been viewed by hundreds of customers, art lovers
						and visitors to the dealership.

The display, which includes a two metre long portrait of the
Lingotto Building in Turin, will be extended well into
January 2010 to allow more people to view Gemma Detti’s
work. Detti has lived in London since 2004. She is a
founding artist of Art in Marylebone and her work has
recently been selected for the Westminster Open Exhibition
					in 2008 and 2009.

It shows once again the versatility of Fiat Marylebone’s
showroom, which has been used for several other art
exhibitions, fashions shows, drinks receptions and even an
					International press conference.

This is the first in a new series of exhibitions of
contemporary Italian artists promoted by Carlo Presenti,
Director of the Italian Cultural Institute,
and organised by Tony Dittli, managing director, Fiat
					Marylebone.

“We were delighted to host the
exhibition’s champagne reception at Fiat Marylebone,” says
Tony Dittli. “More than 250 people came to the event and I
was pleased to see the flagship attracting a new and varied
audience not only to admire the exhibition but also to enjoy
the Fiat and Abarth brands in a unique and special
					environment.”
