Maserati has
named its commercial director Raffaele Fusilli as the
new temporary President and CEO for North America as the
continual turnover of executives from this role
continues unabated with the
Marti Eulberg earlier this week after just 11 months in the job.
Eulberg, the President and chief executive of Maserati North
America, resigned on Tuesday "to pursue other
opportunities." Eulberg, who has 20 years worth of
experience working for prestige automotive brands in the
United States, including Jaguar, Volvo and BMW, was
appointed President and CEO of Maserati North America last
May with a brief to report directly to Maserati's
Modena-based Commercial Director Raffaele Fusilli. She in
turn replaced industry veteran Jim Selwa who left the
Maserati North America top job three months before her
appointment after just under three years in the position.
Following Eulberg's resignation two days ago, Raffaele Fusilli,
the company's global commercial director, who previously was
Sales Director at Ferrari, was appointed today to fill the role
on a temporary basis and he will be assisted by other managers
in the North American operation.
"We deeply value the concrete effort of Marti and the MNA
team," Fusilli said today. "During a very challenging time, Maserati
was one of the very few automotive players in North America to
post a positive result in terms of sales in 2008, thus
contributing to the second consecutive record year achieved by
the company worldwide."
