Volkswagen has recognised Magneti Marelli for
the results the Fiat Group company achieved in terms of quality
improvements.
The award has been assigned to the
Italian automotive components manufacturing company within the scope of the Forum Lieferanten Qualitaet (FLQ),
the most important programme that has been
rolled out by the leading German automotive
group in the field of customer satisfaction
improvement and which involved all VW's plants
located throughout
the world and their suppliers.
This was the
second time that Magneti Marelli participated in the FLQ
programme. The company was assigned 24 quality improvement
objectives to be achieved for its supplies. Twenty three out
of the 24 assigned objectives were fully achieved. However,
the excellent result does not represent an ending point, but
rather another important step on the road to the continual
improvement that the Company has never stopped pursuing.
The performance
places Magneti Marelli among the top five suppliers, out of
the twenty nine companies that took part in the initiative to achieve the best
possible results. At the Forum, the Magneti Marelli was represented by C.E.O. Eugenio Razelli and by some representatives of the
team who assisted Mr. Razelli during the program: Ferruccio
Bondesan, Magneti Marelli Quality, Gianpiero Poncino,
Automotive Lighting Quality, and Ermanno Ferrari, Automotive
Lighting COO.
