Alfa Romeo UK has just announced pricing of its revolutionary 1.4-litre MultiAir engined MiTo range, set to arrive in the UK in spring 2010, with on the road prices starting at £15,165 and rising to £17,895 for the range-topping Cloverleaf with 170 bhp.

Alfa Romeo UK has just announced pricing of its revolutionary 1.4-litre MultiAir engined MiTo range, set to arrive in the UK in spring 2010, with on the road prices starting at £15,165 and rising to £17,895 for the range-topping Cloverleaf with 170 bhp. From launch, two engine versions will become available – the 135 bhp 1.4 Turbo, and the top-of-the-range 170 bhp 1.4 Turbo which will carry the famous Alfa Romeo Cloverleaf badge.

Available to order through the Alfa Romeo UK dealer network from early January 2010, the MiTo’s MultiAir engine range marks the next technological step in the vehicle’s already successful life – promising lower emissions and fuel consumption together with higher performance and greater driving pleasure – with Active Suspension as standard on the 170bhp Cloverleaf model.

Pricing for the MultiAir-equipped B-segment hatchback range in the UK kicks off with the MiTo 1.4 MultiAir TB 135 bhp in "Lusso" trim specification with a basic price of £12,382.98, plus VAT at £2,167.02 to make its cost £14,550.00. Further on the road charges of £615.00 bring the total up to £15,165.00. The same model (MiTo 1.4 MultiAir TB 135 bhp), this time with the "Veloce" package has a basic of £13,208.51. With VAT at £2,311.49 the price comes in at £15,520.00. Adding on the road charges of £615.00, the final total comes to £16,135.00. The range-topper is the MiTo 1.4 MultiAir TB 170 bhp Cloverleaf has a with-tax price of £14,706.38. VAT at £2,573.62 brings the price to £17,280.00 and adding in the on-the-road charges of £615.00, the final price is £17,895.00.
