Earlier this month
Anderson Germany revealled a tuning upgrade for the
Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Balboni, today the firm,
more well know from its lavish makeover programmes for
models from Porsche, Audi, Aston Martin and Bentley, has
announced improved power output and a styling makeover
for another high performance Italian sports car, this
time Ferrari's 2+2 California.
The tuner from Düsseldorf
claims to have boosted the
California’s 460 bhp power by 55 bhp. The increased performance is
down to software
optimisation and a valve controlled stainless steel exhaust system, which can
also be
set to three different sound modes with a remote control.
Anderson Germany has added special light-weight alloy
wheels to its California package, in 21- and 22-inch
size. The split-rim wheels are coated in a carbon film
and the outer rim is matched to the colour of the car.
Efficient road contact is ensured by using 9x21 inch and
11.5x22 inch size light-weight rims equipped with
high-performance tyres in the size 255/30-21 and
315/25-22.
For
a more sporty and efficient street drive Anderson
Germany provides a special dedicated module, which is inbuilt
and can be adjusted according to desired ride height. Thanks to the
use of adjustable dampers the body of the car can be lowered
by the driver by 35mm or alternatively raised by 40mm
depending on road surface requirements.
A
discrete new bodykit is also added to its California
equation with all the components made with a
carbon-finish. The kit comprises of a side to side front spoiler lip,
small side skirt trims finishers,
rear diffuser, rear mud guard finishers, side air vents and a new rear lip spoiler. A darker tint on the
window glass and rear lights completes the
new external aesthetic look. Anderson Germany also
offers individual customisation of the interior,
extending its trademark use of carbon. The carbon
interior package includes air vents, radio console,
centre consoles, door handles, toggle switches and
steering wheel cover.
