The Fiat Bravo has only
just arrived on sale on the Brazilian market and it
already received two awards. Yesterday the locally-built
model gained the title of the best Brazilian hatchback
in the The Best of Auto Press 2011 awards.
						In this awarding
ceremonies, Bravo was elected by more than 60 editors of
publications that are specialised in automobiles –
subscribers of the news agency Auto Press – which chose
the Fiat model ahead of competitors like Audi A3 and
						Ford Focus.
						This is the second
important award in quick succession for the Bravo in
Brazil, which only arrived in the showrooms late last
month after being first shown to the public at October's
Sao Paulo International Motor Show, as in November the
Bravo was also elected as the Best Medium Hatchback
by the 10 Best 2011 awards which were held by the
						Brazilian magazine Car and Driver.
						The Bravo has just
arrived in Brazil, the first country to assemble the
C-segment 5-door hatchback outside of Italy, with two
						engine options: the locally-built 1.8 16V E.torQ with
mechanical or Dualogic transmission, and the imported
						1.4 T-Jet with 6-speed transmission – and three
specification levels: Essence, Absolute and T-Jet, all
						well equipped.
						For example, the Bravo
can be optioned with up to seven airbags – two front,
two front lateral, two for protection of the occupants’
heads, besides one for the protection of the driver’s
knees. With electric steering Dual Drive, the Bravo
arrives with plenty of the latest technology such as fog
lights with cornering system, NAV Radio, Xenon
headlights, front parking sensor, foldable external
rearview mirrors and a "Skydome" sunroof. It is thus a
modern automobile, packed with technology with excellent
level of comfort, safety and performance.
