Of all the languages in
the world, there is a unique sense of excitement and
grandiosity that only the Italian language could bring.
And this is what happened at Rockwell Tent Garden Plaza,
Makati City, Manila, as Maserati was formally introduced
in the Philippines. Introducing its line up of the
Maserati Quattroporte S and GranTurismo S on the night
was Mr. Francesco Fabbiani – the Director of Business
Development for Maserati Asia Pacific.
Mr. Fabbiani shared with the press, “while the mass
market here is small, Maserati sees a lot of prospects
for the segment looking for exclusivity, design and
craftsmanship. He also said that Philippines as a market
is both Asian and Latin and has a close similarity with
the Italian market, both being emotional and
passionate.”
That is why Formula Sports Incorporated (FSI) was chosen
to become the official distributor of Maserati in the
Philippines says Maserati. During the grand unveiling
night, Chairman and President, Mr. Wellington “Willie”
Soong was introduced as the man behind the Italian
luxury car brand arriving in the Philippines. In fact,
the unveiling showed how he has been handed the
exclusive rights for Maserati in the country.
“These are exciting times for luxury car enthusiasts.
The Maserati brand caters to our most discriminating
clientele. Now is the time to aggressively market the
Maserati, given that other luxury vehicles have been
around for a while and buyers are hungry for an
alternative,” Soong said.
He also explained that the market for luxury vehicles is
rising in the country given that there is new wealth
“from very enterprising entrepreneurs. Business overall
is very robust,” he added.
About five hundred guests, Ambassadors of different
countries, VIPs, press, entrepreneurs and famous
celebrities saved their precious time for this very
prestigious event. With the whole cooperation and
support also of Formula Sports Incorporated (FSI) team –
Executive Director Mr. Marc Soong and Mr. Jason Soong,
Managing Director of FSI surprised everyone that the
Maserati Quattroporte and Granturismo unveiling marked
