Accenture will collaborate with Magneti Marelli in the
design and development of the company’s in-vehicle
infotainment, telematics and embedded software
initiatives, under a five-year contract.
Magneti Marelli designs and manufactures high-tech
systems and components for the automotive sector.
Accenture will help develop and manage the company’s
digital entertainment and communication solutions and
services designed to improve the onboard driving
experience of a wide range of vehicles, including cars,
light commercial vehicles and trucks.
Marcello Tamietti, a senior executive for Accenture
Automotive, said, “Accenture has developed a strong and
productive relationship with Magneti Marelli. This
agreement will allow us to help the company offer
drivers and passengers a huge range of new and
innovative services in their vehicles, from infomobility
and entertainment services, safety and security
solutions, to car maintenance and e-commerce services.”
