At the 80th Geneva Motor Show this week Novitec Rosso is showing off the latest products of its Ferrari tuning programme: a upgraded California (bottom) and 430 Scuderia lining up alongside the ultra-exclusive 599 GTB Fiorano "Race 848" (top) on the occasion of its world première.

The German tuner has announced that just three highly modified versions of the 599 GTB Fiorano with 848 bhp and 852 Nm; dubbed the "Race 848" will be built. In matt white and featuring distinct matt black highlights it is being shown on the Novitec Rosso stand alongside a California which shows off sporty styling add-ons, a custom-tailored tyre/wheel combination with diameters of 21 and 22 inches, suspension modifications, more power and exclusive interior options. A tuned Ferrari 430 Scuderia completes the line-up at the Swiss Palexpo.

The brand-new "Race 848" is the star of the Novitec Rosso stand, and the twelve-cylinder Ferrari engine benefits from Novitec Rosso's twin compressor conversion package to produce 848 hp (624 kW) of power and has a peak torque of 842 Nm. The high-performance superchargers have an electronically limited boost pressure of 0.48 bars and are driven by a cogged belt and have their own dedicated oil circuit. A large water-to-air intercooler with dedicated water circuit also contributes greatly to the optimal power yield. A custom-developed intake manifold, high-performance injectors and sport air filter round out the engine conversion.

It all means that the Race 848 sprints from rest to 100 km/h in less than 3.4 seconds, to 300 km/h in just 23.7 seconds, and reaches a top speed in excess of 345 km/h. This exclusive model also features an aerodynamic-enhancement kit that Novitec Rosso says was developed in the wind tunnel, three piece 21-inch wheels with matching sports suspension, a high-performance brake system and exclusive interior options, including an individually-numbered plaque.
