At the Paris Motor
Show Fiat will introduce new specification to the
Doblò: the 90 CV 1.6 MultiJet engine combined with a
Dualogic 5 gearbox and type approved to Euro 5
standards. With this equipment, the car achieves
reduced CO2 missions and fuel consumption: the
levels are 133 g/km and 5.0 litres/100 km over a
combined cycle respectively.
The 90 HP Nuovo Doblò
1.6, available in Active, Dynamic and Emotion trim
levels, may be combined with either a 6 speed manual
gearbox or a 5 speed Dualogic robotised gearbox. In
both configurations, the model offers as standard
the Start&Stop system that performs the task of
stopping the engine automatically without the need
to turn the key whenever the vehicle is at a
standstill (e.g. at a red traffic light) and starts
it again when the driver intends to resume driving
(e.g. when the traffic light changes to green). This
increases car efficiency by reducing consumption,
damaging exhaust emissions and noise pollution.
The 90
CV 1.6 MultiJet engine is the latest addition to new Doblò
range, the Fiat family space that offers standard
safety features including ESP and side bags for
protecting the occupants' head and chest,
best-in-class fuel economy and eco-friendliness
(Start&Stop system as standard on all petrol and
diesel engine versions while diesel power units are
fitted as standard with a DPF). All this has been
achieved through the use of a new platform; more
room for passengers (a 2755 mm wheelbase makes it
the longest in its segment), a best-in-class boot
capacity of 790 litres (which becomes 3200 litres
with the seats folded), low CO2 emissions (129 g/km
with the 1.3 MultiJet II 90 CV engine, the lowest in
its category), innovative Bi-link suspensions for
additional comfort, and the highly flexible
interiors offering up to seven seats on petrol and
diesel versions. All these features are sure to
satisfy drivers' needs and make the Doblò a car to
enjoy with family and friends.
