Fernando
Alonso will make his debut in the red colours of
Scuderia Ferrari today. The Spanish driver will arrive
at Madonna di Campiglio this afternoon, where he will
take part, along with his new team-mate Felipe Massa and
the MotoGP Ducati Corse outfit, in the twentieth running
of Wrooom, the traditional pre-season event for
the media.
Tomorrow
(Tuesday) will see Alonso and Massa joined at the up market
Italian ski resort by Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal,
Stefano Domenicali and they will stay in the mountains until
Saturday 16th.
Meanwhile, in
Maranello, the team is totally focused on the preparation of
the new F1 car, which is due to make its testing debut on
1st February at the Ricardo Tormo circuit, at Cheste
near Valencia in Spain, during what will be the first joint
test session for the teams taking part in the 2010 Formula 1
World Championship. In the car assembly area, work has been
going on for several days already on the first chassis,
which goes by the code name of 281, while also progressing
at the same time is the series of crash tests necessary to
homologate various components.
