Abarth and SACS Marine
have teamed up for a third Scorpion branded product,
this time a tender, the "SACS - Abarth 695 Tributo
Ferrari", which is focused on the identity of the
limited edition Abarth-spun Fiat 500 project of the same
name.The SACS -
Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari is a top-performance craft
aims to be a useful piece of the jigsaw for yachting in
style, and it springs from the growing collaboration of
SACS and Abarth, following on from the launch of the
co-branded SACS Abarth Powershore and SACS Derivazione
models. SACS Marine has also worked with the Scorpion's
sister Fiat Group Automobiles brand, Lancia, (to create
the Lancia di Lancia) as well as with British carmaker
Jaguar (the SACS Jaguar XT8).
The SACS - Abarth 695
Tributo Ferrari though is the result of the combination
of two automotive brands, Abarth and Ferrari, and SACS,
which is an international leader in the production of
dinghies. It will be a limited-edition tender with a
unique design inspired by Abarth cars and only 199 will
be made. The SACS - Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari will come
with the option of the four colours that are available
to the Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari road car: Rosso Corsa,
Giallo Modena, Blu Abu Dhabi and Grigio Titanio.
The SACS - Abarth 695
Tribute Ferrari tender is the ideal craft for
discovering the beauties of the most secluded inlets and
the smallest harbours and is perfect for quick transfers
from boat to land. It is the solution for large boat
owners who demand a sporty style also for short trips.
The tender is 3.3 metres long, 1.7 metres wide and 0.9
metres high. Powered by a turbocharged petrol engine
that produces 76 kW, maximum speed of the SACS - Abarth
695 Tribute Ferrari is 40 knots while cruising speed is
30 knots. Unladen weight is 320 kg while fully loaded
that rises up to 750 kg. Fuel tank capacity is 38 litres.
The RIB's body - shown
in the launch images finished in Rosso Corsa - sports
"Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari" badges on the sides of the
steering housing unit as well as just below the steering
wheel. The numbers "695" meanwhile are printed onto the
outside of the pontoons. There are carbon-effect panels
for the instrument cluster and steering wheel/switches
which also come with red piping, while the seats and
padded trimmings have characteristic Abarth red
stitching.
The tender is
delivered with a SACS Mare Abarth bag, handmade by
Tramontano, the famous workshop in Naples, which aims to
be in tone with the product. Another 100 percent Italian
product that is exclusively for SACS - Abarth 695
Tributo Ferrari owners.
