The Ferrari 458 Italia
has won a further award in the UK where it has already
impressed much of the motoring media, this time taking
the Car of the Year title from a strong field in
						The Daily Telegraph’s “Motoring” supplement.
						In declaring the 458
Italia the winner in the “Money No Object” category Paul
Hudson, Head of Motoring at The Daily Telegraph, said:
“The 458 Italia wins because of the pure driving
pleasure it delivers – to drivers of all abilities. It
flatters your driving while involving you fully in the
experience. Despite its towering performance there are
many faster cars, but the 458’s astounding levels of
tactility and refinement clinch it. It has almost
telepathic steering, superbly linear major controls,
looks (and sound) to die for. Hell, it’s even
						comfortable."
						Other cars to be
singled out in its "Best Cars" of the year 2010 section
by The Daily Telegraph included the BMW 5-series,
Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, Audi A7 Sportback, Citroën
DS3, VW Sharan, Porsche 911 RS and Kia Sportage.
						The Daily
Telegraph’s “Money No Object Car of the Year” award
follows on from several other awards in the UK for the
						458 Italia including Car magazine’s
“Performance Car of the Year”, Fifth Gear’s“Fast
Car of the Year”, BBC Top Gear Magazine’s
“Supercar of the Year” and “Car of the Year”, GQ
Magazine’s  “Supercar of the Year”, MSN Cars
“Car of the Year”, and Auto Express’s
						“Performance Car of the Year”.
