Fiat Group Automobiles,
through the Fiat and Fiat Professional brands, has been
awarded two important fleet orders in Austria and Spain
						for the supply of commercial vehicles and cars;
deliveries have already begun and will be completed in
						the coming months.

						The first agreement was
signed with the Austrian postal service, Österreichische
Post AG, and envisages a fleet of 730 Fiat Doblò Cargos
identified by yellow livery and equipped with the 90 HP
1.3 MultiJet turbodiesel engine that ensures driving
satisfaction, excellent performance, low noise levels,
low running costs (fuel consumption and maintenance),
and also reliability and eco-friendliness. The agreement
between Fiat Group Automobiles and Österreichische Post
AG testifies the sharing of important values by both
Groups, such as environmental protection and the
sustainable mobility. It is a concrete commitment as
also proven by the supply of eleven Fiat 500s, already
present in the Austrian postal service fleet to provide
an interesting car pooling service. So the number of
European countries that have chosen Fiat cars and
vehicles for their postal service has now risen to
						eleven.

						Technology, reliability,
low running costs, eco-friendliness and loading capacity
are instead the criteria of selection that have led to
the second supply in Europe. In fact, for the second
time the Spanish branch of PepsiCo, the prestigious food
sector leader, has chosen Fiat Professional vehicles.
The new fleet will therefore be made up of 400 vehicles,
including Doblòs and Grande Punto Vans.

						A special mention is to
be made of the Fiat Doblò Cargo model, included in all
two supplies as proof of its incredible versatility of
use. Named International Van of the Year 2011, it is the
first vehicle in the small van segment equipped with a
volume and capacity typical of higher segments, despite
its compact dimensions. It is also thrifty on fuel and
eco-friendly. It also boasts several records in its
category: internal length of up to 2.17 metres, width
between wheel arches of 1.23 metres, volumes up to 4.2
cubic metres, payload from 750 to 1000 kg, NDEC fuel
consumption of 4.8 litres/100 km, range of 1250 km and
						CO2 emissions of just 126 g/km with the 90 HP 1.3
MultiJet II Euro 5 engine. These records ensure
customers substantial benefits in terms of optimising
their business and containing running costs. The new
vehicle offers a roomy, square, regular and fully usable
load compartment that is equipped with sliding side
doors and generously-sized rear doors to make light work
of loading and unloading operations. The Fiat Doblò
Cargo is ideal for professional drivers who spend many
hours of the day in their vehicle: in town traffic with
frequent stop and go situations to load and unload
goods, but also for fast intercity trips.
