Jeep UK will celebrate
the off road vehicle maker's 70th anniversary next
weekend through a sponsorship agreement with the
Goodwood Revival motorsport event. Jeep will play its
part at the Sussex-based Revival as guests relive the
glorious 1940s, 50s and 60s in one of the world’s
						biggest historic motor racing parties.
						As a sponsor of the
Goodwood Revival, Jeep will be displaying its latest
range of 70th anniversary models – Grand Cherokee,
Compass and Wrangler – as well as a large selection of
historic cars dating back to the Second World War.
						Jeep will have three
key areas around the Goodwood Revival site: At the Earls
Court Motor Show, featuring Jeep vehicles of the 50s and
60s and the all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee and Compass, at
the March Motor Works, which depicts a typical 1950s US
garage, and the 4x4 Experience at the Goodwood Quarry,
where the company’s guests can experience the latest
Jeep products in the real world environment of a working
quarry. At all these points, event-goers will have many
chances to see the classic line-up of rugged passenger
and military cars through the ages.
						“This is a wonderful
opportunity to showcase not only the rich heritage of
the remarkable Jeep marque, but also the latest Jeep
vehicles available now in the UK,” says Nigel Land,
brand director, Jeep Chrysler in the UK. “The Goodwood
Revival is a fantastic event on the motoring calendar
and we are delighted to be involved.”
						The Goodwood Revival
takes place at the Goodwood Estate, Near Chichester,
West Sussex, from Friday 16 September until Sunday 18
						September.
