There will simply be no
need for Lamborghini to sweep the covers off its
Murciélago-replacing Aventador LP700-4 next week as all
the new V12-engined sports car's secrets have been laid
bare ahead of its 81st Geneva Motor Show debut with even
more leaked photos arriving on the internet which have
joined up the visual dots, offering a clear view of the
rear end, engine bay and the interior for the first
						time.The
additional leaked photos continue to unveil the theme of
a sports car that adheres closely to Lamborghini's
traditional design language, a somewhat conservative
design that chooses to evolve the forms of the
Murciélago and its limited edition offshoot the Reventón
as well as infusing shapes that are associated with its
parent company Audi, while dredging into raging Bull
history to draw inspiration from historic designs such
as the Diablo and, in the rear end, the long-running
						Countach.
						The sharp, angular
"stealth fighter" theme of the Reventón coupé and
roadster, as well as last-autumn's Paris Motor Show
debuting technology showcase sports car concept, the
"Sesto Elemento", can be seen in much of the detailing,
such as the hexagonal fuel filler cover, while the
three-branch LED theme of the Murciélago's tail lights,
along with the single, and also hexagonal-shaped,
centrally-position exhaust exit has been carried over.
The LP700-4's rear diffuser meanwhile has been more
						subtly integrated into the undertray.
						Inside, the Aventador
LP700-4 once again draws on the theme of the Murciélago
it replaces with a similar style of 'racing' seats and
some overall evolution of the cockpit architecture. The
need for a four wheel drive system sees the retention of
a large central tunnel with very similar packaging to
the Murciélago. There also appears to be a CD
interchanger in the driver's footwell. Seating fabrics
and door panel inserts, which look to be less refined
than the car it replaces, will have matching accents.
