Maserati has maintained its position amongst
Australia's leading exotic brand in 2010 according to figures released today by
VFACTS with the Italian sports car maker recording a 17.5 per cent rise
in sales last year, well ahead of the total market increase of 10.5 per cent.
Maserati’s Australian sales success in 2010 was built on the
on-going Quattroporte, which saw a new variant, the
Quattroporte Sport GTS MC Sportline make its world debut at the Australian
International Motor Show, and the launch of the award-winning Maserati
GranCabrio, the marque’s first full four seat soft top sports car.

“Maserati’s continuing success is built on the core
principles that have made it a legend, those of style,
performance, exclusivity and, now, the ability to tailor
a Maserati to the individual requirements of each
customer,” explains Glen Sealey, General Manager of
Maserati Australia and New Zealand. “In the coming
months we plan to further enhance Maserati’s position as
the leading exotic brand in Australia with the launch of
the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale, a new high
performance variant that will prove, once again, that
while we can deliver unrivalled exclusivity, luxury and
comfort, Maserati can still deliver a powerful
						performance punch when required!”
