Its sales might be
declining across key European markets but Maserati is
finding much compensation in Asian markets where demand
for the Trident's cars is increasing sharply, and in
China its sales are set to double this year.

In fact with a 96 percent
increase in sales of its sports/luxury cars during the
first nine months of 2011, Maserati is well on track to
double its sales in China in 2011 and this rapid growth
is driving the opening of new Maserati dealerships with
Pudong, near Shanghai, joining the fifteen strong
						Maserati Chinese dealer group.

						The Modena-based manufacturer inaugurated
						the new
sales, service and spare part facility in the modern financial district of
Pudong on Tuesday.
The brand-new two-story showroom – the first of this sort – is a new milestone
in Maserati’s business development in the China market.

						With Maserati outlets
established in the cities of Shanghai, Beijing,
Huangzhou, the Italian car maker is now spreading into
second and third tier cities in China, a clear
indication that believes its sales growth will continue
as it expands into new market areas.

						According to Maserati the
reasons that Chinese clients are choosing Trident models
are exclusivity, the ability to tailor the entire car to
an individual’s specific taste, classic Italian style
and performance, along with a marque with real heritage
						as the motivating choices.
