Potentially a new Italian
luxury sports car will attempt to add its name to a long
list of Italian contenders next month according a press
release issued by a new company called Vygor, although
there is scant detail so far apart from a from what
purports to be a teased front end image.
The image shows a front end
completely dominated by two huge oval round air intakes
filling the spoiler area, reminiscent vaguely of the
Ferrari F430 (a feature which wasn't well received on
the Maranello sports car) with possibly small foglights
to the outside. Above them are small twin LED headlights, a
small grille with the marque's badge and a air intake on
						the bonnet.
						The mysterious company states
it comes from Tuscany and puts down its address as being
on the picturesque Via Tofanelli in the pretty
						historical town of Lucca.
The press release spouts a few
lines of somewhat embarrassing PR: "Vygor was born in
Tuscany, a land rich in works of art and emotions. Vygor
is the emotion to see a unique work of art challenging
the road with proud eyes, the body sinuous like a feline
and the elegance of a dream...an emotional car, like a
windblow in the skin, like a thrill of sudden pleasure
which takes your breath away...and unleashes
emotions...the emotion to hear the thunder of the engine
which is pure adrenalin, aggressive and biting as you
have always dreamt but also mild as silk...the emotion
of touching a panther...the emotion of taming the
power..." One can only hope the car is better than the
standard of this PR, but the portents aren't promising.
						Vygor announces on its single
page website that, what it terms as a "new sport and
luxury car made in Italy", will be unveiled on 10th
October although breaths are unlikely to be baited on
the basis of its first attempt to gain some recognition
						for the project.
