The second day of
pre-season testing for the Italian and European series of the
Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy has taken place at
						Monza’s Autodromo Nazionale.

Following the first test on March 4, the drivers of both
series had another chance to get used to the legendary
track near Milan where the first race is scheduled for
the weekend of April 10. They also had the chance to
practise at the wheel of the new 458 Challenge. This,
the fifth version of the car, was brought out this year
						alongside the F430 Challenge.
						There were 15
cars in action on a day that was divided into two test
sessions. After trying out the solutions introduced on
the new car, the drivers at the test declared themselves
happy with the comparison. They told of extreme
performance, great emotions and enormous fun behind the
wheel. Over the course of an intense day, the 458
Challenge showed that it was completely new compared to
preceding track models and, thanks to the significant
weight reduction and the use of innovative solutions, it
showed surprising improvements on the timesheets.
