As it
tries to stem year-long sharply falling sales Alfa Romeo
UK is rolling out higher end sports trim levels onto the
entry MiTo and Giulietta ranges, offering more optional
extras as standard with improved cost savings. The new
'Sportiva' trim level has been inspired by Alfa Romeo’s
						range topping versions.
						The compact MiTo Sportiva
now includes as standard all the technology features of
the Distinctive trim level, with further equipment
additions, with customers benefitting from £1,500 worth
of option upgrades for £750 more OTR.
						The MiTo Sportiva now
features 18” Quadrifoglio Verde alloy wheels, sports
kick plates, and Sportiva badges. Inside the cabin, the
theme is black and green with darkened interior
headlining, and matte black steering wheel inserts
accompanying a black leather steering wheel and
handbrake, plus black Alcantara sport seat upholstery,
all of which are finished with green stitching.
						On the Giulietta, the
Sportiva version builds on the Veloce trim level, adding
that model's optional larger red Brembo brake callipers
mounted inside 18” spoke design alloy wheels that come
with a dark titanium finish. Inside there is a sports
leather upholstery plus a rear armrest with storage
compartment and sport kick plates. In total, the new
Sportiva trim gives the customer £3,000 worth of
upgrades for an additional cost of £1,860 OTR.
						The Alfa MiTo Sportiva
is available in the UK with three engine options: 875cc TB TwinAir
						85 bhp (£16,100 OTR), 1.4 TB MultiAir 135bhp (£17,000
						OTR) and the 1.6 JTDM-2 120bhp (£17,750 OTR).
						The Alfa Giulietta
Sportiva is available in the UK with a choice of six
engines and including the new technologically advanced
						twin dry-clutch semi-automatic TCT, starting at £23,110
						OTR for the 1.6 JTDM-2 105bhp.
