An image that appears to be of a full size styling model
of Ferrari's forthcoming V12 engined replacement for the
599 GTB Fiorano has leaked across the internet ahead of
its official preview in four days time and its world
première a week later at the 82nd Geneva Motor Show.
						The cellphone image was
leaked to the website gtspirit.com which said
that it was sent in by a reader anonymously.

						Last week
Ferrari released a brief official 'teaser' video showing
a heavily disguised prototype in action on its private
Fiorano test track in the hands of Scuderia driver
Felipe Massa. Apart from the unmistakable sound of the
car's V12 engine, the video gave very little away.
						The leaked photo shows
that the new front engined V12 model will evolve the
styling of the outgoing 599 GTB Fiorano along with
taking family design language cues from current range
models such as the FF and California. Very little is
actually known about the car though so far, apart from
that the chassis will continue to use an aluminium base,
Ferrari eschewing the all-carbon-fibre tub route that
has been taken by Lamborghini with its new Aventador
						LP700-4.
						Ferrari says that it
will be the most powerful sports car it has ever built.
The outgoing 599 GTB Fiorano had 612 hp while the
end-of-line, limited-edition 599 GTO was boosted up to
661 hp which tops the 651 hp offered by Ferrari's last
supercar, the Enzo, in 2002. The 599 GTB Fiorano's
5999cc engine isn't being carried over, instead it will
get a more powerful version of the new 6.3 litre V12
						seen in the four-wheel-drive FF.
