The bestseller across Brazil in its segment, Fiat
Automóveis' Doblò is now being rolled into the showrooms in improved Model Year 2013
specification while a special edition of the Adventure series has also been
introduced.
The Doblò Adventure Xingu is a special edition that is inspired by the popular film, and
features additional standard equipment as well as new visual detailing. It is a
tribute to the 'Xingu' movie, the work of São Paulo film
director Cao Hamburger, which tells the
story of the creation of the Xingu National Park, begun in 1940 under the
direction of the Villas Boas brothers.
The Model Year 2013 Doblò Adventure Xingu includes in its standard features a radio
CD/MP3/WMA with RDS, electric exterior door mirrors, new front seats with
embroidered "Xingu Adventure" logos, new decorative patterned strips
along the sides of the
vehicle and a similar styled new decal down the rear door, all inspired by the movie. Plus, after
purchasing the vehicle, the consumer will receive a gift delivered to their home
that corresponds to this special version, consisting of a backpack, flashlight,
notebook and amulet.
For the Model Year 2013, the Doblò's entry-level "Attractive" trim now
incorporates amongst its list of standard items Fiat Automóveis' HSD (High
Safety Drive) Kit which comprises of dual front airbags and ABS brakes fitted
with EBD. With this addition to the range, all Doblò versions developed for
carrying passengers can rely on these important safety items as standard.
The Model Year 2013 changes to the light van-based range also includes the new "Casual Kit", consisting of a
split rear seat, rear centre seat belt with retractable three-point harness and
centre armrest for the driver's seat, and a "Creative Kit", which brings radio
CD/MP3/WMA/RDS, electric-operated exterior door mirrors, steering wheel with
height adjustment, foglamps and knife-switch with remote control for
opening/closing the doors.
