Captain Prabhakar AVR and
navigator Shiva Kalyan S are just setting out on the
GQ Expedition Challenge as they aim to complete a

they are using Fiat India's turbodiesel-powered Grande
Punto Multijet 90 hp in 'Emotion' specification.
Prabhakar AVR has already notched up endurance records
such as covering 2,180 km in 24 hours on a

in cars and bikes in India. Travelling to Ladakh on a
bike, he then did speed runs of 2,270 km in under 23
hours in a car non-stop.
Shiva Kalyan S already counts on endurance records of
around 2,000 km non-stop in a Grande Punto 90 hp and has
extensively driven the Palio diesel on 24 hour non-stop
runs as well as setting distance records in other fields
such as over mountain trails. He also was formerly the
moderator of the Hyderabad chapter of the Fiat
Fraternity and a co-founder of Fiat Classic Club
Hyderabad.
The
journey will commence from Vijaywada and cover a drive
of close to 6,041 km over a target span time of just
three days. The route is from the start in Vijayawada to
Chennai, Bangalore, Tumkur, Kohlapur, Pune, Mumbai,
Jaipur, Delhi, Agra, Calcutta, Bubhaneswar,
Vishakapatnam and Rajahmundry, before finishing back in
Vijayawada. The current record stands at 86 hours (for
