Captain Prabhakar AVR and 
						navigator Shiva Kalyan S are just setting out on the 
						GQ Expedition Challenge as they aim to complete a 
						drive within India of close to 6,041 km in just 75 
						hours. This will be an attempt to grab a spot in the 
						Limca Book of World Records. And for the challenge 
						they are using Fiat India's turbodiesel-powered Grande 
						Punto Multijet 90 hp in 'Emotion' specification.
						
						Prabhakar AVR has already notched up endurance records 
						such as covering 2,180 km in 24 hours on a 
						motorbike, and has contested many endurance challenges 
						in cars and bikes in India. Travelling to Ladakh on a 
						bike, he then did speed runs of 2,270 km in under 23 
						hours in a car non-stop. 
						
						Shiva Kalyan S already counts on endurance records of 
						around 2,000 km non-stop in a Grande Punto 90 hp and has 
						extensively driven the Palio diesel on 24 hour non-stop 
						runs as well as setting distance records in other fields 
						such as over mountain trails. He also was formerly the 
						moderator of the Hyderabad chapter of the Fiat 
						Fraternity and a co-founder of Fiat Classic Club 
						Hyderabad. 
						The 
						journey will commence from Vijaywada and cover a drive 
						of close to 6,041 km over a target span time of just 
						three days. The route is from the start in Vijayawada to 
						Chennai, Bangalore, Tumkur, Kohlapur, Pune, Mumbai, 
						Jaipur, Delhi, Agra, Calcutta, Bubhaneswar, 
						Vishakapatnam and Rajahmundry, before finishing back in 
						Vijayawada. The current record stands at 86 hours (for 
						the 6,041 km distance). This new record attempt is being 
						sponsored by Fiat India.
