Alfa Romeo exhibition in London celebrates 90 years of art in engineering


Under the title "Sustaining Beauty: 90 years of art in engineering", Alfa Romeo are currently celebrating nine decades of art in design, culminating with the 'Car of the Year' award wining Alfa 147, with an exhibition at the London Science Museum, which opened it's doors in November last year and finishes at the end of this month.
Alfa Romeo 6C2500 Ville d'Este Seventeen cars, valued at more than GBP5M were brought from the Alfa Romeo museum in Milan, along with a host of drawings, designs, scale models and engines.

Alfa Romeo Monza Alfa's performance heritage is represented through the decades and includes the 1930 Mille Miglia winning 6c1750, the 1951 Formula 1 World Championship winning 159, the Sportscar World Championship winning 33TT12, through to the victorious 2001 European Touring Car Championship 156

production cars included renowned designs such as the original Duetto Spider, a 1900 Super Sprint by Touring, a Giulietta Spider and the famous 6C2500 Ville d'Este


Alfa Romeo 33TT12 all around the cars were original design sketches, period advertisments and models from the Alfa styling centre
