22.07.2002  ALFA ROMEO INSIDERS CONFIRM CLOSE SIMILARITY OF THESE IMAGES TO NEW "SPRINT" COUPE

Alfa Romeo insiders who have seen the new "Sprint" coupe confirm the close similarity to these computer generated images. However it is believed that the car will have a much more pronounced rear overhang than this image suggests.

The car, which is in effect a 156 Coupe and takes its external ( and possibly internal ) styling cues from the 147, is expected to be marketed as a seperate model with no reference to either the 147 or 156.
