| This is believed to be the
first image of the "baby" Lamborghini L140, due to be released at next
spring's Geneva Motor Show. The 5-litre mid-mounted V10 powered car is
designed to compete head to head with the Ferrari 360 Modena, and Lamborghini
claim a 10% better all round performance.
Lamborghini's owners VW/Audi
have announced that the new L140 have much in common with the new Audi
RSR sportscar. Both car's chassis have been developed by Audi's Aluminium
Centre in Germany where the aluminium spaceframes will be manufactured,
both the L140 and RSR sharing common floorpan components.
Both cars will share the
same 5-litre V10 engine, as well as having a common gearbox and drivetrain. |
