In its twilight, the Seicento, due to be replaced next summer, is represented at the Paris Motor Show by the Sporting version with its 40 kW 54 bhp Fire 1100 engine and a short-ratioed gearbox. The instruments and controls on the Seicento Sporting have a black background with white numbers. The lighting is orange to match the leds on interior controls. Other details included a digital clock, titanium-coloured heater panel and electric power steering. The pocket Fiat range is
completed by the Seicento S and SX, and also the Brush special series and
the Elettra. All versions share reliable mechanical systems and a wealth
of equipment and options. The list includes ABS with automatic electronic
brakeforce distributor, climate control system and an electrically-controlled
cloth top.
Thirteen colours, Broom Yellow, White, Capri Blue, Black, Steel Grey, Scilla Red, Ariadne Green, Calypso Orange, Theseus Blue, Athena Blue, Orion Grey, Titian Red and Stelvio Green, are available. Foremost among the accessories available is an Abarth pack, a sports kit including: bumpers with the Abarth logo; tailgate spoiler; sideskirts and 14" alloy wheels with the scorpion logo; 175/50 low tyres; head-restraint with the Abarth logo; steering wheel and gear lever knob with red top-stitching |
