10.09.2003 FACELIFTED ALFA ROMEO 166 RECEIVES WORLD PREMIERE IN FRANKFURT

The newly facelifted Alfa Romeo 166 has received its World Premiere at the 60th Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany. While the jury is still out on the recently restyled Alfa 156, adding the now familiar 'family' nose to the 166 has instantly transformed Alfa's poorly selling large exectutive saloon.
Emphasising the importance Alfa are giving to the revised model one of the line-up was position next to the 8c Competizione concept in a special section of the display. The eagerly awaited 240bhp 3.2 V6 engined version was also present.
