11.09.2003 ALFA ROMEO'S GT COUPE RECEIVES ITS OFFICIAL WORLD PREMIERE AT FRANKFURT

The Alfa Romeo GT Coupe received its official World Premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany on Tuesday. For the first time the engine bay and interior were available for detailed imagination. Three models are present and a higher specification attractive grey leather interior is on show.

The GT Coupe was designed by Bertone, it is based on the floorpan and mechanicals of the 156 saloon with a 147-inspired interior and will start coming off the production line in Naples early next year. A sales target of around 25,000 per year has been projected for a model which will include a 250bhp 3.2-litre V6 GTA version along with a 1.9JTD option.
