Lancia
have presented a large upmarket collection at the Frankfurt IAA. On an
elegant stand, much larger than seen at recent shows, they have unveiled
the new Fulvia concept which has been drawing admirers all week.
Building
on Lancia's upmarket, luxurious image, the display here aims to recapture
the style and ambience of bygone decades. The headling Fulvia concept is
mounted on a revolving stand, positioned in the middle of a small articifical
lake, which is in turn fed by water cascading down a tall glass waterfall.
Directly opposite, the new Ypsilon sits on a second large revolving turntable,
surrounded by static models of Lancia's new small car, available for public
examination.
Next
to the Fulvia, the Thesis Promenade and Phedra Promenade, two concepts
which try to recapture the spirit and atmosphere of the Cote d'Azure in
the 1960's, complete the Italian carmaker's line-up. All around the stand
luxury and fashion images are projected, from the perfume counter where
individual fragrances can be created to the shop front facades, which display
designer fashion accessories.
