The Italian media has been speculating that Giancarlo Boschetti, CEO of Fiat's Auto division, could face the axe imminently. Rumour suggests that headhunters have been appointed to seek out a new CEO from outside the group and an array of top executives of European and North American carmakers have been linked with the post. Boschetti, aged 63, has been criticised for his lack of motivational skills, and analysts have been unimpressed by his low-key presentational style. |
