30.10.2003 FIAT BRAZIL RELEASE FIRST OFFICIAL IMAGES AND DETAILS OF THE RESTYLED PALIO

With bold and original styling, penned by Giorgetto Giugiaro the new Palio arrives on the Brazil market in November bringing new innovations in the compact segment.

The revised Palio features new comfort, functionality and security options. Some of them were previously unheard in the compact class in Brazil, for example the 'My Car' Palio, where the customer can personalize some functions of its car; CD and MP3 player, side air-bags.

The engine line-up consists three powertrains: 1.0 Fire, 1.3 Fire Flex and the 103 bhp 1.8 liter. The 1.0 Fire which is capable of 65 bhp has been updated, while the 1.3 Fire which is equipped with a Flex system allowing both petrol and alcohol fuel is new.
