04.08.2003  STUDENTS OF IAAD PRESENT LANCIA-SPONSORED 'HPE: A NEW CONCEPT IN LUXURY'

Greek name to denominate diamond, that means invincible. From the diamond and its working, that since always is a sign of craftsmanship and manuality, I started by searching an exclusive vehicle that seems to be created by the clever hands of a craftsman and not by an assembling chain. 

The idea is to create the effect of a volume in crystal set on the body. With this concept the glass surfaces are bigger in order to give an effect of lightness and transparency, from the outside and from the inside. In this way, from the inside of the vehicle there is a visibility of 360° that allows to see better what surrounds us.

For what concerns the interiors the idea is to bring back the classical Lancia sofa in a modern key. The new object of inspiration is the Flap sofa by Edra, maximum expression of versatility  and freedom of movement on a similar object. The vehicle seat is able to transform itself from containing seat to sofa, according to the driving style and the will of the passengers.

Moreover, is able to ease the operation of getting in and coming out of the abitacle. In the interior were not used the usual materials such as alcantara, leather , briar wood that link to a classy vehicle, instead technical fabrics, metal, and plastic treated in adequately: in this way we obtained an exclusive interior, but at the same time sporting and very resistent that can be utilized without worriying of ruining it.

The guide lines reflect lightness, transparency, versatility, comfort, exclusiveness and utilization of alternative materials.
