Melbourne based team Motorsport
Innovations has completed work on its Class B Ferrari 360 Challenge for the
Bathurst 24-Hour.
The Ferrari had its first shake down at Calder on Wednesday with team owner Rod
Wilson behind the wheel. Wilson who will be driving a Graham Nash Motorsport
Porsche GT3 RS at Bathurst, later handed over the Ferrari to one of its four
drivers, Richard Wilson.
Both drivers were impressed with the Bathurst set-up and how easy and
comfortable the car was to drive, which is the ideal package for Bathurst. The
car is currently been sign-written and departs for Bathurst on Monday evening.
The Motorsport Innovations drivers for the 24 hour race at Bathurst will be
Richard Wilson, Paul Jenkins, Theo Koundouris and Ian Palmer. With the amount of
work and new components that have gone into the car the Motorsport Innovations
team feel confident of a good result.
