Jamie
Campbell-Walter posted fastest time during Sunday morning's FIA GT warm-up
session at a dry Magny-Cours track. In very overcast conditions the Lister
Storm driver posted a lap over a second faster than the BMS Italia Ferrari
driver's could manage, returning to the form he showed in Thursday's dry
free sessions, prior to the rain setting in.
Behind
the Lister, the no 22 Cappellari/Gollin BMS car edged out the JMB Ferrari
550 of Babini/Peter by 6/10th of a second, an impressive performance from
a delighted JMB team who have been struggling thus far to get to grips
with their new 550 Maranellos. The championship leading no 22 BMS Italia
Ferrari of Bobbi/Biagi set sixth fastest time, two and a half second shy
of Jamie Campbell-Walter's time.
In
N-GT the Gomez/Heisse Autopalace Ferrari 360 suprisingly topped the time
sheets, just ahead of the Ortelli/Lieb Fresinger Motorsport Porsche 996GT3-RS
and the Turner/Burt Team Maranello Ferrari. |
